Last year's TTT camps were a great success and we plan to make this year even better! Campers will be working with a diverse and experienced coaching staff who are knowledgeable and passionate about teaching soccer. Our coaches have had experience working with players of all ages and skill levels. Our training sessions are designed to be fun, competitive and intensive. There is a strong emphasis on teaching skills and the basic fundamentals of soccer. We have assembled the best coaching staff in Memphis to make the TTT camps this summer a fun, productive and memorable experience.

2008 Featured coaches

Louis Thorpe – Tusculum College Men’s Assistant Coach

Thorpe assisted with the men’s and women’s programs and served as women’s head coach during the 2002 season. That team posted an 11-6-1 record while advancing to the Tennessee-Virginia Athletic Conference (TVAC) Tournament semifinal. He also helped guide the King women’s soccer program to a pair of NAIA district runner-up finishes in 2000 and 2001, while the 2001 men’s squad advanced to the district semifinal.

An exceptional athlete, Louis played for The Gambia Senior National Team and was captain of the 1985 squad that competed in the Junior World Cup Tournament qualification. He also played basketball for his national team as a point guard.

Frankie Taal – NC Wesleyan Men’s Assistant Coach

Frankie is a veteran of the Ten Thousand Touches Soccer Camp having been with us for the last five years. We are happy to have him come back for a sixth time.  Coach Frankie enters his second year at North Carolina Wesleyan College.

Coach Frankie hails from Bethany College in West Virginia, where he served two seasons as head women's soccer coach.  Frankie is a veteran of Bethany soccer, having been around the program for over a decade. As a player, he was a two-time All-PAC selection and was a member of the Bison's 1994 Division III National Championship team.

Following the completion of his career, Taal moved to the sidelines as an assistant for the men's team. During that time, Bethany won five PAC titles and earned five berths into the NCAA tournament.
